The strategy of balanced regional development of the Vinnytsia region until 2027 (hereinafter referred to as the Strategy) was developed on the basis of the Law of Ukraine "On Stimulating the Development of Regions", the Law of Ukraine "On the Basics of State Regional Policy", Sustainable Development Goals (CSG), approved by the United Nations Summit on sustainable development.

INFORMATION BRIEF ON THE ADMINISTRATIVE AND TERRITORIAL DIVISION OF THE VINNYTSIA REGION

Since December 2020, a new administrative and territorial system has been introduced in Ukraine, according to which the Vinnytsia region is divided into 6 districts, which unite 63 territorial communities including 1,503 settlements. There are 6 cities of regional significance in the region. The administrative center of the region is the city of Vinnytsia. The territory of the region is 26.5 thousand km2, which is equal to 4.4% of the territory of Ukraine.
