IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD: 2021
OBJECTIVE: to overcome the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in the territory of Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions by creating conditions for the sustainable development of entrepreneurship in the rural areas of the designated regions and providing microfinancing in the amount of up to UAH 50,000 to beginner entrepreneurs who have a business idea or have been already registered as a private entrepreneur for 2 years.
MAIN RESULTS:
Within the scope of project accomplishment, the financial support was provided to 24 entrepreneurs in Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions.
In Vinnytsia region, 12 projects with a total cost of UAH 956,7 thousand were supported, which included UAH 436.5 thousand added by the entrepreneurs as their own contribution (mainly in kind) to create new, improve/expand services in their communities. 50% of the winning projects contributed to the creation of new Individual Entrepreneur/1 job/newly created enterprises, and 2 entrepreneurs - participants of the ATO were also supported. The projects were implemented in the following areas: agricultural sector, small livestock breeding, green tourism, craft food production, light industry, provision of repair services, training and honey production.
PROJECT BUDGET: UAH 1.5 million.
The project was implemented by a consortium of partners: CF "MHP to Communities", the Vinnytsia Regional Development Agency and Cherkasy Regional Development Agency with the financial support of the project by the Government of Sweden and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine "Strengthened Partnership for Sustainable Development"
