IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD 2020-2021
OBJECTIVE: to create a favorable conditions for business lending in order to implement investment projects that create added value in the agricultural sector by economies (processing, logistics, supply of resources, equipment and services in the field of grain and oil crops, fish farming (aquaculture) within the framework of the EIB Project "Major loan for agricultural industry - Ukraine"
MAIN RESULTS:
Within the framework of the Project, the Agency provided consulting assistance and support to representatives of agrarian business in order to obtain a loan from the European Investment Bank.
Throughout 2020 - 2021 the Agency held 90 information events, consultations and online presentations for 530 participants (3 higher education institutions, 16 local government organizations, 69 business structures of the region).
The organization:
held 7 webinars for 113 people on the topic of investment projects support by the European Investment Bank;
presented the project for farmers of the region as part of the agro-industrial exhibition "AGRO-Vinnytsia - 2021" and held the conference "Agrarian industry of Vinnytsia region: state and prospects of development".
provided the organizational assistance for the regional forum "Agrarian export 2021 in the context of the European Green Deal" in Lviv (more than 120 participants).
consulted the Regional Development Agencies of Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyi regions regarding the attraction of credit funds for agribusinesses of 2 regions to implement the investment projects aimed at creating added value.
Due to the Agency’s assistance and consulting services, 6 investment projects by agribusinesses of Vinnytsia region of total value of EUR 3,634 thousand were submitted for consideration to partner banks.
The Agency’s representatives developed a concept model of cooperation between Kyiv office of the Project and a network of regional financial advisors.
Technical assistance contributes to the implementation of the project of the European Investment Bank "Major loan for the agricultural industry - Ukraine" aimed at supporting and creating added value in the oil, grain, aquaculture and fishing industries; modernization of small and medium-sized business enterprises, as well as state institutions and services.
