IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD 2019 – 2021
OBJECTIVE: to increase the competitiveness of regions, achieve an even, balanced development of territories, prevent the deepening of socio-economic disparities by creating instruments and infrastructure of interregional cooperation.
MAIN RESULTS:

a manual of best practices of interregional cooperation of 6 regions was created;

24 project concepts with an interregional component were developed;

the interregional cooperation toolkit "Interregional Development Council" was developed;

a memorandum on cooperation in regional development was signed between the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Luhansk, Rivne and Ternopil regions.
PROJECT COST: UAH 11,391,000.
The project was implemented by the Zakarpattia Regional Development Agency together with 5 partner agencies from Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Luhansk, Ternopil and Rivne regions throughout 2019-2021 at the expense of state budget funds received from the European Union.
