Today, Vinnytsia hosted the “Opportunities Fair for Internally Displaced Persons” — a space where change makers came together: representatives of government, business, international partners, and active residents of the region who are looking for ways to develop professionally and make a fresh start.
The participants were welcomed by:
-Svitlana Yarmolenko, Director of the Department of Social and Youth Policy of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration Vinnytsia Regional State Administration;
- Galina Yakubovich, Deputy Mayor of Vinnytsia;
- Anatoliy Kovalchuk, representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Vinnytsia region;
- Eleonora Rudenko, regional coordinator of the “Unity for Action” program in Vinnytsia region.
The program was packed: panel discussions on stakeholder interaction, consultations on career development, legal support, and starting a business, workshops on writing resumes, preparing for interviews, and submitting grant applications.
The Vinnytsia Regional Development Agency was represented at the event by Kristina Solovei and Svitlana Kienko. During the presentation of business development support programs in Vinnytsia region, Deputy Director Khristina Solovei spoke about regional business support programs, opportunities for entrepreneurs, and tools that help turn ideas into real projects.
The “Opportunity Fair” became a space for partnerships—between those looking for work and those creating jobs, between communities and businesses, between ideas and real solutions.
