From October 26 to 30, Ukrainian entrepreneurs took part in a business mission to Katowice, Poland, as part of the project “Supporting the Development of Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness of Ukrainian Regions - Continuation.” The visit program included the 15th European SME Congress, one of the largest platforms for dialogue between business, government, and scientific circles in Central Europe.
In addition to the plenary sessions, the delegation visited the Katowice Special Economic Zone, the Silesia Automotive & Advanced Manufacturing cluster, and enterprises and industrial facilities that demonstrate effective European practices of cooperation between government, business, and science.
The visit brought together 15 representatives of Ukrainian businesses and development institutions representing different regions of Ukraine. From Vinnytsia region, the trip was attended by the director of the Agency, Yelyzaveta Savchuk, and the MSME development manager, Svetlana Kienko, as well as entrepreneurs interested in expanding cooperation with Polish partners - Volodymyr Bilenkyi (Neborak Cancer Farm) and representatives of the Nika-Text Plus sewing company.
The project is implemented by the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy of the Republic of Poland in partnership with Polska Agencja Rozwoju Przedsiębiorczości and co-financed under the Polish Development Aid program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
