In 2026, the state grant program for Ukrainian entrepreneurs, which offers support for starting or developing their own business, has been extended. The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine has approved the deadlines for submitting grant applications.
The goal of the grant program is to stimulate entrepreneurial activity, create new jobs, support micro and small businesses, and restore Ukraine's economy. This year, the amount of grant support has been increased, which expands opportunities for entrepreneurs and makes the program even more effective.
➡️Since 2022, 35,000 grants have already been funded and 50,000 new jobs have been created.

➡What grants are available?
– Microgrant for your own business;
– Microgrant for young people;
– Grant for veterans, persons with disabilities due to war, and their family members;
– Grant in the field of preschool education or creative industries.
➡Grant amounts
The amount of the “Own Business” microgrant does not exceed:
– UAH 100,000 – subject to registration as an individual entrepreneur;
– UAH 200,000 – if 1 job is created;
– UAH 350,000 – if at least 2 jobs are created.
Special conditions for frontline regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions.
– up to UAH 300,000 – in case of creating 1 job;
– up to UAH 500,000 – at least 2 jobs.
Special conditions for young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 25:
up to UAH 200,000 – subject to registration as an individual entrepreneur without the requirement to create jobs.
➡Grant for veterans, people with disabilities due to war, and one of their spouses:
– up to UAH 250,000 – for creating 1 job;
– up to UAH 500,000 – for creating 2 jobs;
– up to UAH 1 million – 4 jobs, 12 months of work experience, and 30% co-financing of the project cost.
➡Grant for the creative sector or preschool education:
– UAH 100,000 – for freelancers who are individual entrepreneurs;
– UAH 200,000 – if 1 job is created;
– UAH 500,000 – for the creation of 2 jobs;
– up to UAH 1 million – for the creation of 4 jobs, 12 months of work experience, and 30% co-financing of the project cost.
➡Deadlines for submitting applications for microgrants/grants in 2026:
Applications are now being accepted on the Diya portal.
➡How to get a grant?
1. Prepare an application and business plan (https://diia.gov.ua/services/grant-na-vlasnu-spravu).
2. Submit your application and business plan via the DIA portal.
3. Your business reputation will be screened automatically by an authorized bank.
4. Complete an online interview at your regional employment center.
5. Once the State Employment Service has made a decision on the microgrant, you will receive notification of the results in your DIA personal account.
6. Within 20 working days of receiving the notification:
– if you are a natural person, register as a sole proprietor or create a legal entity;
– contact an authorized bank, conclude a microgrant agreement by signing an application to join the microgrant agreement, and submit documents to open a special account for the transfer of microgrant funds.
7. Use the microgrant funds for their intended purpose and start or develop your business.
