The event brought together representatives of central and local government bodies, regional development agencies, clusters, and international partners to discuss the role of cluster policy in Ukraine’s recovery and its integration into the European economic space.
Khrystyna Solovei spoke during the panel discussion “Why Does Ukraine Need Cluster Policy in the Context of the Country’s Innovative Development, Recovery, and EU Accession,” where she joined local government representatives and experts to discuss the role of clusters in regional development, business support, attracting investment, and strengthening regional competitiveness.
During her presentation, she shared Vinnytsia Oblast’s experience in developing cluster initiatives, particularly the creation of the ReMeT Rehabilitation and Medical Technologies Cluster. This is an example of how collaboration between business, medical institutions, academia, the public sector, and government creates new opportunities for regional development, the implementation of innovations, and the formation of a modern rehabilitation ecosystem.
We thank the organizers—the Lviv City Council and the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance—for the opportunity to participate in a professional dialogue on shaping cluster policy in Ukraine, to exchange experiences with representatives of communities, government institutions, and international partners, and to jointly develop solutions that are important for regional development.
