The event brought together representatives of authorities, regional development agencies, industrial park management companies, and experts to exchange international experience and develop modern approaches to the creation and development of eco-industrial parks in accordance with international standards.
Training participants worked on issues of planning and designing new industrial parks, principles of implementing a circular economy, efficient resource use, development of industrial symbiosis, infrastructure management, and creating conditions to attract investment. Special attention was paid to international practices in eco-industrial park development and the possibilities of adapting them to Ukrainian realities.
For Vinnytsia region, the development of industrial parks is one of the important tools for strengthening the economic capacity of communities, attracting investment, creating new jobs, and developing modern industrial infrastructure. The knowledge and practical cases gained during the training will be used in the Agency's future work to support communities and develop the region's investment potential.
We thank the project team for the high level of event organization, the practical training format, and the opportunity to join the international professional dialogue on the development of eco-industrial parks in Ukraine.
The training was conducted within the framework of the international technical assistance project "Eco-Industrial Parks Programme II – Implementation in Ukraine at the National Level," implemented by UNIDO with the financial support of the Swiss Government through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
