Svitlana Kiienko, MSME Development Manager at the Vinnytsia Region Development Agency, took part in a study mission to the Republic of Poland, which took place from July 13 to 17 within the framework of the project "Support for Entrepreneurship Development and Competitiveness of Ukrainian Regions – Continuation," organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency - PAIH.

Over the course of five days, participants familiarized themselves with the Polish system of entrepreneurship support and investment attraction. The program included meetings with experts from the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, visits to the Invest in Pomerania regional agency, the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, and the Gdańsk and Pomeranian Science and Technology Parks.

During the study mission, practical tools for working with investors, development models for regional agencies, startup support mechanisms, the operation of special economic zones, and innovation infrastructure were presented. Special attention was paid to the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems, cooperation between business, science, and authorities, as well as creating a comfortable environment for innovation development.

An important result of the visit was the establishment of professional contacts with Polish institutions that can become partners in the implementation of joint international projects. The acquired knowledge and successful practices will serve as the basis for improving tools to support entrepreneurship and attract investment in the Vinnytsia region.
