Today, an in-person intensive workshop titled “Export Connect: A System for Supporting Exporters in the Regions” took place in Vinnytsia. The event was organized by the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Cohesion and Regional Development of Ukraine,” the UCORD Project, the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, the Vinnytsia City Council, and the Vinnytsia Regional Development Agency. Representatives from the business community and government agencies joined the event with a shared goal: to help enterprises in Vinnytsia Oblast enter international markets.
The event was opened by Andriy Ocheretny, Deputy Mayor of Vinnytsia; Yulia Kramarenko, Head of the Economic Policy Division at the Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration; and Yelyzaveta Savchuk, Director of the Vinnytsia Regional Development Agency.
The training program was moderated by Anna Milenina, an advisor at the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development and an expert with the Export Connect initiative, who presented participants with a methodology for developing a company’s export strategy and practical approaches to entering foreign markets.
During the intensive workshop, participants learned about national and international export support tools, the process for analyzing and selecting promising foreign markets, and the specifics of customs clearance and preparing supporting documentation. Olya Gvozdyova, an advisor at the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, and Anton Doktorov, an advisor in the Research & Commerce practice at Crowe Mikhailenko, spoke about these tools.
A separate session was dedicated to the sustainability requirements of European markets. Maria Revenko, Director of Crosscheck, presented approaches to implementing ESG principles and greening production, as well as their impact on the competitiveness of Ukrainian companies in international markets.
At the conclusion of the training, participants received certificates and practical tools to help them plan their export activities more effectively, find new markets, and grow their businesses.

The “Export Connect: Support System for Exporters in the Regions” initiative is implemented by the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Cohesion and Regional Development of Ukraine” (UCORD) in cooperation with the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development under a Memorandum of Cooperation.
