Eng.: The digital transformation of communities is, above all, about solutions that simplify daily processes, make services more accessible, and make interactions with residents more convenient and transparent.
The forum “Digital Vinnytsia Region: Digital Solutions for Communities” was dedicated to practical tools for digital development, community experiences, and new opportunities. The event brought together CDTOs, digital leaders, heads of local communities, and heads of Administrative Service Centers (ASC) from the Vinnytsia region and other regions of Ukraine—those who are directly implementing digital changes on the ground.
The team from the Vinnytsia Regional Development Agency, which works with communities—in particular through the Office of Digital Competencies operating under the Agency—joined the forum. Director Yelyzaveta Savchuk presented the Agency’s activities, key areas of work, and initiatives to strengthen the capacity of Vinnytsia region communities to the participants. Kira Dyachuk, an expert at the RDA’s Office of Digital Competencies, presented the results of the first phase of the “Office of Digital Competencies” project and the best practices developed through work with communities.
During the forum, discussions focused not only on what new initiatives could be implemented but also on the sustainability of digital solutions already in use. The exchange of experiences between communities and experts helps find practical solutions to these challenges and strengthen the region’s digital capacity.
The second day of the forum was dedicated to direct work with communities. Participants, together with Khrystyna Solovei, Kira Diachuk, and Viktoria Koval, worked on plans to implement the second phase of the “Digital Competencies Office” project, identifying key tasks and next steps to support the digital transformation of communities.
We thank the organizers, speakers, and all forum participants for the professional dialogue and collaborative work on developing modern, sustainable, and accessible digital services in communities.
The forum was organized by the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration in partnership with the EGAP Program, implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation with support from Switzerland.
