Eng.: Vinnytsia Region’s experience in developing industrial parks was presented at an interregional forum
On September 29, the forum “Science and Industrial Parks: Building Successful Ecosystems” took place, organized by the Poltava Regional Development Agency “Office of European Integration” and Poltava University of Economics and Trade as part of the international IMPACT-Campus project.
Yelyzaveta Savchuk, Director of the Vinnytsia Regional Development Agency, participated in the event. She shared Vinnytsia Region’s experience in developing industrial parks and explained how the region creates conditions for launching new manufacturing facilities and attracting investors. She also gave a separate presentation on the industrial sites in Vinnytsia and the region, their specializations, infrastructure capabilities, and practical development case studies.
The presentation placed significant emphasis on engineering infrastructure as one of the key factors for potential residents. In particular, she discussed the development of water supply and wastewater treatment networks for two industrial parks in the Vinnytsia City Territorial Community—a project being implemented with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Cohesion and Regional Development of Ukraine,” the UCORD project in cooperation with the Vinnytsia City Council and the Municipal Enterprise “Vinnytsia Municipal Investment Fund.”
We would like to thank Svitlana Tul, Acting Director of the Poltava Regional Development Agency’s “Office of European Integration,” for the invitation, the opportunity to present Vinnytsia’s experience, and to participate in an open exchange of practical solutions in the field of industrial park development. Such interregional contacts help identify common approaches and strengthen the industrial potential of the regions.
