Eng.: Culture, Partnership, and Project Management: Highlights of the 4th Tourism and Economic Forum in Vinnytsia Oblast
On October 16, the village of Lypivka hosted the 4th Tourism and Economic Forum, “Along the Tourist Routes of Ukrainian Podillia.” The main theme of the event was the role of international support and a project-based approach in ensuring the sustainable development of communities.
Elizaveta Savchuk, Director of the Agency, participated in a panel discussion titled “International Support as a Resource for Economic Development, Tourism, and Cultural Heritage Preservation.” Together with colleagues from the State Agency for Tourism Development, the UCORD project, the “Podillia Community” Foundation, the International Trade Centre, and the Renaissance International Foundation, they discussed how joint initiatives help communities turn challenges into new opportunities, monetize their heritage, and build economic resilience.
“The main value of cooperation with international partners is the opportunity to turn individual ideas into sustainable solutions. Project management combines cultural potential with practical economics, transforming local heritage into new jobs and tangible regional development,” emphasized Yelyzaveta Savchuk.
The forum also highlighted practical results and success stories from partner communities in preserving cultural industries and crafts. In particular, participants discussed the experience of establishing craft workshops, exhibition spaces, and gastronomic centers in Tulchyn, Klembivka, Yalanka, and Kryzhopil. This systematic approach confirms that the development of local micro- and small-scale entrepreneurship is the direct foundation of these territories’ economic self-sufficiency.
On the second day, forum participants continued their work as part of a packed roadshow: they visited Busha, Yampil, Klembivka, Yalantsi, Stina, Tulchyn, Vysokyi, Zabolotne, Kryzhopil, and Hnatkiv to see firsthand how the implemented projects and initiatives are transforming life in the region.
Podillia is a region of unique heritage, effective partnerships, and boundless opportunities. Let’s create new opportunities and bring ambitious projects to life together!
